Rekha Meghwal, immolated self by pouring a can of kerosene and with over 60 per cent burn injuries she died on the spot, told Station House Officer (SHO), Kapren police station, Digvijay Singh.
Ramswroop, husband of deceased woman and in-laws are reported to have been harassing and torturing the victim for dowry since her marriage, he said.
On the basis of complaint filed by the deceased father, a case under sections 498 and 304 (B) was lodged against the husband ,mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the woman, he added.
Body was sent for post-mortem after which it was handed over to the family members, police said.
