28-year-old youth shot dead in Muzaffarnagar

A 28-year-old youth belonging to one community was allegedly shot dead by a person from another community leading to tension in the Datiysana village here, police said today.
The youth was killed by the 27-year-old man over some dispute in Datiyana village under Chapar police station in the district, police said.
The accused was arrested, and a case has been registered. The victim's body has been sent for postmortem, they said.
Extra police have been keeping tight vigil to avoid any untoward incident as the security in the village was tightened, they added.
