29 IIS officers transferred

Twenty-nine Indian Information Service (IIS) officers were transferred today, according to an official order.
This is the fourth major reshuffle since November last year.
The transfers or postings of the IIS Group 'A' officers are with immediate effect, the order of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said.
This is the fourth major reshuffle after the ministry shifted 24 officers on Janaury 24, and 20 on January 17. Twenty officers were transferred in November.
The order said that as many as 18 deputy director and 11 assistant director (AD)-level officers have been transferred.
Sanjay Pratap Singh, who was AD (News) in Doordarshan Kendra (DDK)-Itanagar, got the additional work of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Itanagar, it said.
Sidharth Babanrao Bodke, who was posted as deputy director (News) in DDK-Mumbai, has been made the deputy director (Media and Communications), PIB, New Delhi.
He has been alloted housing and urban affairs ministry for its publicity and media related works, the order said.
Ramesh Chandra Shukla, who was deputy director (News) in All India Radio (AIR), Gorakhpur, has been transferred as deputy director (M&C), PIB, New Delhi and assigned Agriculture and Farmers Welfare ministry for media related works, it said.
Navika Gupta, deputy director at Doordarshan News, New Delhi, will look after the publicity and media-related work of Women and Child Development ministry, while Maneesh Singhal and M Jaya Singh has been alloted Road Transport and Highways ministry and the Election Commission of India, respectively, the order said.
