3 arrested for possession of Ganja in separate incidents

One person was arrested for possession of about 300 grams of Ganja illegally here, police said today.
After receiving a tip-off, police arrested Bittu, a resident of Sanjay Colony, and seized 290 grams of Ganja from him, a police spokesperson said.
A case has been registered against the accused under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said, adding further investigations are on.
In a separate incident, Ballabhagrh crime branch have arrested two persons, Manoj and Dharmpal, both residents of Bhagat Colony, for possession of 16 kg Ganja, two country-made pistols 315 bore and two live cartridges.
A case has been registered against the duo, police said, adding, further investigations are on.
