In a drive launched against the distillation of illicit liquor and its sale, a police party from Bari Brahmana station apprehended and arrested one person, Dilharan, and recovered 143 pouches of liquor from his possession, they said.
In another incident, the police party from Bari Brahmana station arrested two persons, Manoj Singh and Ajay Kumar, and recovered 86 pouches of liquor from them, a police official said.
Cases have been registered in both the incidents and further probe is on, the official said.
