Shortly before the House adjourned sine dine, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affair Rajiv Pratap Rudy told the House that the government was in favour of referring the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Bill 2015, the National Waterways Bill 2015 and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill 2015.
Rudy also said that the government "will be more than happy to the send the Benami Act" to the Standing Committee.
Opposition has been attacking the government for not following the due process of legislative scrutiny of bills noting that so far out 51 bills, it had sent only seven to the standing committee.
