3 held in Karaya shoot out incident

The Police today arrested three persons in connection with yesterday's shootout in the Karaya Police Station area in which two persons were injured.
Three persons - Pradip Bhagat (29), Mohhammed Asfaque (25) and Mohammed Akbar alias Bocha (22) were arrested for their alleged involvement in yesterday's incident of firing, a senior officer of the Kolkata Police said.
All three have been charged under Indian Penal Code sections 307/34 IPC and 25{1B(A)}/27 Arms Act, he said.
Two persons - Sheikh Arsad and Amin Ali Gazi - were admitted to hospital after they were hit by bullets on their legs by unknown miscreants last evening at Topsia locality within the Karaya police station limits.
