3 IAS officers promoted to Principal Secretary rank

The Nitish Kumar government today promoted three IAS officers to Principal Secretary rank keeping in view their seniority and performance.
Energy Secretary Pratyay Amrit was today made Principal Secretary in the same department, a General Administration department notification said.
Amrit is the 91' batch IAS officer.
Along with Amrit, S Siddarth, Secretary Industries and S M Raju, Member of Revenue Council, both of 91' batch IAS, have also been made Principal Secretary of their respective departments.
Pratyay Amrit has won accolades for carrying out work of electrification of villages and also streamlining the functioning of the electricity department.
Earlier, as Secretary Road Construction Department he had won praise for building roads and bridges in the state.
