Out of the three, two were jailed in Sunamganj jail and were received by the BSF and police at the International Check Post at Dawki yesterday, a BSF spokesperson said.
They could not be repatriated due to procedural delay for some time until the BSF took the initiative and mooted a case for their early repatriation to India, he said.
Another person from Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills district, who had inadvertently crossed the International boundary and was apprehended by the BGB, was handed over to the BSF under the CBMP.
