3 injured in bear attack in J-K

Three persons, including a woman, were injured when a wild bear attacked them in Bandipora district of north Kashmir, police said today.
A black bear ventured into Budugam village near Dawar from nearby forest last evening and attacked a group of people, a police spokesman said.
The three injured persons were identified as Ateeqa Begum, Mohammad Shabir Lone and Mushtaq Ahmadwere, he said.
The bear was chased back into the forest by villagers and the injured were shifted to hospital, the spokesman said.
