According to police, a truck collided with a tractor near Jewar on Yamuna Expressway today, killing two persons and injuring five others.
The accident took place near Jewar toll plaza towards Agra road. Seven persons travelling in the trolley were injured. The injured were rushed to a hospital, however, Pramod (28) and his daughter Diksha (5) died on the way, they said, adding that the five injured were identified as Ramwati, Dinesh, Kiran, Vanshika and Daksh.
In another mishap, Mohammad Suhail was killed last night when his car was hit by a truck near sector 71 here.
The third accident was reported from Greater Noida expressway where a truck and a canter collided last night injuring five persons, identified as Jaiveer, Balkishan, Vakil, Suresh and Rampal.
The condition of two was stated to be critical, police said. Police were investigating the cases.
