3 killed as car falls in gorge

Three persons, including a forest guard, were killed when the car in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell in a deep gorge in this tehsil of Doda district, police said here today.
The incident occurred yesterday when the vehicle was on its way to Doda from Bhaderwah, a police officer said.
The driver lost control of the car near Dalyia village main road and it rolled down a 100-ft deep gorge, the officer said.
Two persons died on the spot, while one seriously injured was shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries this morning, he said.

The deceased have been identified as Shiv Kumar, Angat Kumar and Suresh Kumar all residents of village Rainda in Bhaderwah, the officer added.
