3 killed as roof of school collapses

Three workers, including two women, were killed and as many injured when the under construction concrete roof of a private school at a village in this district collapsed, police said today.
The roof of the building, spreading across 6,000 square feet, was being built at Vengalam village when it collapsed late last night, they said.
The roof collapsed when the workers took shelter under it due to heavy rain, police said.
The injured workers have been hospitalised.
