Indian Army's Northern Command through its official Twitter account released the names of the deceased soldiers today.
Sepoys Anand Gawai and Sanju Suresh Khandareare belong to Akola, while sepoy Vikas Samndare hailed from Beed district of Maharashtra, the official release stated.
All the jawans were in their 20s. Gawai and Samundare were unmarried, said the release.
The weather in Gurez and Sonamarg area remained packed up today, therefore mortal remains of the martyrs could not be airlifted to Srinagar, it said.
The subsequent transportation from Srinagar to New Delhi and further to respective native places by IAF is planned for January 29, the statement said.
