75-year-old woman found dead with deep cut on neck

A 75-year-old woman, who was allegedly into illicit liquor trade, was found dead in East Delhi's Trilokpuri area last night.
Police said Amanni's body with a gash on the neck was found by her nephew around 8 today morning at her home. He had come to visit her aunt last night.
Three suspects have been rounded up, said a senior police officer, adding they used to visit her regularly.
The murder is likely to have taken place late yesterday night but exact details are expected to come after questioning of the suspects and further verification, he said.
Police found Amanni's home ransacked and locks broken, raising suspicion of murder for robbery by someone known to her.

Amanni stayed in her house along with her son who was out of station at the time of the incident. Her daughter who was married lives in the neighbourhood, police said.
The body was sent for post mortem.
