"In joint operations carried out by Balijana-based Army troops of Red Horns Division and Goalpara Police, three hardcore terrorists of UALA were apprehended in two separate operations last night," an official release said.
Two 7.65 mm pistols, some ammunition, a hand grenade and an identity card of the terrorist group were seized.
In recent times, terrorist activities of Meghalaya based terrorist groups have increased in Goalpara district.
Last week, UALA chairman Novembirth Marak alias Chindik Marak was arrested from a private hospital in Guwahati by the Assam Police.
