3 members of a family die in vehicle collision

Three members of a family died when their motorcycle was hit by a pickup van near Sanehuva market under the Qasimabad police station area here, police said today.
The accident took place last evening when the victims were on their way to meet a relative in a nearby village, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Gopal Ram (23), his mother Usha Devi (50) and aunt Manti Devi (36), police said.
The driver of the pickup van fled the spot after the incident, they said.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police added.
