Three minor siblings suffocated to death after falling into a grain bin while playing at their village in the district, an official said.
Nisha (10), her sisterSapna (7) and brother Kartik (5) died of suffocation after falling into a wooden grain binin Khumti village of Dharchula subdivision last evening, Dharchula SDM R K Pandey said, adding their parents were not at home when the incident occurred.
The children's grandfather said, "It appears that they fell into the grain bin while playing near it and got trapped there. When we started looking for them for the evening meal, we could not find them."
