3 mobile handsets, contraband seized in Jind jail
Jail guards last night found a packet with two mobile handsets and 12 gram of opium in it lying inside the premises during patrolling, Jail deputy superintendent Seva Singh said.
After recovery of the said items, a checking drive was launched in the jail during which another mobile handset was recovered from inmate Sukhjindra, he said.
A case has been registered against Sukhjindra and unidentified others, the officer added.
