3 of Maha family dead in cylinder blast in Hingoli

Three members of a family were Friday killed in a gas cylinder explosion in Hingoli district in Maharashtra's Marathwada region, police said.

The incident took place around 3am in a house in Krunda village of the district, over 500 kilometres from here, an official said.

"The blast was possibly caused by LPG leakage. Three people in the house were killed instantly," he said.

The official identified the deceased as Sonadi Dalvi (55), Sureka Dalvi (50) and Puja Dalvi (25).
