3 people arrested for trying to smuggle hashish to India
The three persons were arrested from Nayabuspark area in Birgunj, a southern Nepal town bordering Raxaul of India on charges of smuggling, a police official said.
A senior police official said that the three people were arrested along with the contraband drug brought from Makwanpur and were heading towards Raxaul.
Nepal has become a transit point for international drug smugglers with more and more cases of smuggling being reported recently.
