3 smugglers held

Three persons were arrested today for allegedly smuggling rare medicinal herbs from the forests of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the three at Malpora in Baramulla and seized 92 kg Tri Pathri (Trillium Govanianum) hidden from them, they said.
The arrested have been identified as Zahoor Ahmed Guroo, Reyaz Ahmad Wani and Majid Khan.
A case has been registered against them under Forest Act.
