Three workers of a leather factory were asphyxiated to death today after they inhaled fumes while cleaning the effluent tank of the unit at Mittalam village in this district today, police said.
They said two workers were cleaning the tank while the third person was supervising them. All of them were overcome by fumes from the tank and fainted.
They were rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
