30 labourers fall sick after having contaminated water in Raj

Thirty labourers fell ill after drinking contaminated water at Badi Sadhadi tehsil in Chittorgarh district, authorities said today.
The incident occurred yesterday in Marawadia village when about 30 labourers working under MNREGA drank water from a tank, Chief Medical Officer K C Saini said.
Soon they started complaining of vomiting and upset stomachs. They were rushed to a hospital from where they were discharged after treatment, Saini said.
Some labourers later inspected the tank in which they found a lizard, he added.
