Thirty officials of Northern Railway were felicitated on Friday for protecting and helping children in and around railway stations.
Sant Lal and Sangeeta, officials at Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station, and Pankaj Mittal, Deputy Station Superintendent at Ghaziabad, were among the 30 officials, five each from six divisions, felicitated at an event here by Northern Railway and Railway Children India, an independent NGO.
"I feel extremely proud to see my frontline staff. On every railway station, which is a world in itself, their contribution is immense,"said Mani Anand, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, who was present at the event here.
