30-year-old woman raped by police constable in Raj

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a police constable in Sikar district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The woman, in her complaint to the police, alleged that she was raped by the constable last night at her residence, police said.
The accused constable, who is posted at Sadar police station, had promised to help the woman in a case, police said.
A case has been registered and the accused was being questioned, police said.
