31 office bearers, 24 special invitees in Satti's new team

Satpal Singh Satti, who was reelected as Himachal Pradesh BJP president for the third term on January 6 last, today announced his new team including 31 office bearers and 24 special invitees.
The State executive announced after two-and-half-month included eight vice presidents, three general secretaries, organising secretary, eight secretaries, chief spokesman, treasurer, six spokespersons and three assistant media heads.
The women have got just 20 per cent representation and out of 31 office bearers, only six are women.
Ram Swaroop, first time MP from Mandi who was front runner for post of state BJP chief has been appointed vice president along with Sarveen Chowdhary and Randhir Sharma, both MLAs, former MLAs Vipin Parmar and Praveen Sharma, Rajeev Bharadwaj, Rupa Sharma and Ganesh Dutt, who was chief spokesman in the old executive committee.
Former Rajya Sabha member Kripal Parmar, Chander Mohan Thakur from Sirmaur and Ram Singh from Kullu are among the three general secretaries while Pawan Rana and Kapil Sood from Shimla continue to be Organising secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Former Minister and party MLA from Nahan, Rajiv Bindal has been appointed chief spokesman of the party while Praveen Sharma from Mandi would be secretary and State Media head.
Seven other secretaries included Trilok Jambwal, Kamlesh Kumari, Daizy Thakur, Hans Raj MLA, Vinod Thakur, Payal Vaidya and Rattan Singh Pal.
The other office bearers included six spokespersons namely, Vikram Singh (Dehra), Gobind Thakur (Manali), Ajay Rana (Sundernagar), Ritu Sethi(Solan), Mahendra Dharmani(Bilaspur) and Himansu Mishra(Palampur).
Union Health minister J P Nadda, Former chief ministers Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal, party MPs, Anurag Thakur, Varinder Kashyap and Bimla Kashyap, former state presidents Suresh Bharadwaj, Jai Ram Thakur, Suresh Chandel and Khimi Ram and seven sitting MLAs Ishwar Dass Dhiman, Rikhi Ram Kaundal, Mohinder Singh Thakur, Gulab Singh, Rajeev Saijal and Ravinder Singh Ravi and Varinder Kanwarare among 24 special invitees.
