33 employees found absent from election duties

District authorities have ordered registration of cases against 33 employees, including women officials, after they were allegedly found missing from their Gram Panchayat election duties on November 30 in Shamli district.
According to District Magistrate and District Election Officer OP Verma, 33 employees of different departments, including women, were found absent from the Gram Panchayat election duty in the district.
The district authorities have ordered to register a case against the officials.
One day salary of the absent officials would alao be deducted, they said.
