Escorted by the CRPF, the 33rd batch, conmprising 138 men and 17 women, left in a convoy of 6 vehicles this morning, officials said.
With today's batch, a total of 69,136 pilgrims have left for Amarnath since the pilgrimage began from Jammu on June 28. As many as 2,55,542 pilgrims have paid obeisance at the holy cave.
The 40-day yatra began on June 29 and is scheduled to end on August 7, coinciding with the festival of Raksha Bandhan.
