35 kg of poppy straw seized, one person held

One person was today arrested and police seized 35 kilogram of poppy straw from his posession in Budgam district of central Kashmir.
Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Kandoora village, was arrested from Beerwah, 30-kms from here, a police spokesman said, police said.
A case has been registered against him.
