The woman, identified as Deepa, was working as a nurse in a hospital situated at Hapur Road, and was residing alone at Shastri Nagar here, police said.
The incident came to light when neighbours informed the police of foul smell coming from her residence, following which the police found her body inside the house.
According to police, Deepa committed suicide by injecting herself with poison through the help of a drip.
Deepa was a diabetic and was depressed over some problems in her personal life which led her to take the extreme step, they added.
This was her second marriage, police said, adding, she had divorced her first husband.
