Acting on a tip-off, Sukhdev Singh and Tej Singh were arrested yesterday in raids conducted at several places in the district and 48 kgs of poppy straw was seized from them, he said.
The duo identified their two other accomplices on interrogation and raids were conducted to nab them, the officer said, adding, Jagdish Singh and Suram Singh were also arrested from the same area and 12 kgs of poppy straw was seized from them.
