4 killed in Nawada

Four persons were found dead,
while one was seriously injured in separate incidents in Nawada district today.
Two bodies wwere found and a seriously injured person lying on the side beneath a railway overbridge in the district.
Superintendent of Police Chandrika Prasad said, with liquor bottles recovered from the spot, it remained a possibility the three got drunk near the tracks beneath the overbridge on Kiul-Gaya railway section and were run over by some passing train last night.
The injured person has been identified as one Mohammad Firoz of Bhadauni village. He is known to have criminal antecedents and is a suspect in train dacoity, loot and snatching cases. His relatives have taken him to Patna for treatment, the SP said.
Locals, however, suspect they were murdered elsewhere and then dumped on the spot near the railway tracks to make it look like an accident.
In another incident body of a person was recovered from a canal under Hisua police station of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Bhola Manjhi, a resident of Manwa village of the area. He had gone to Hisua market yesterday evening but did not return home.
Another person, Yamuna Manjhi of Kuananadpur village under Pakri Barama police station died after being beaten up in a fight between two groups.
All the bodies have been sent to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
