4 killed in two road accidents

Four persons were killed and 11 others injured in two separate road accidents in the last 24 hours in the Kandhai area here, police said.
According to police, a duo identified as Suraj (25) and Prakash (24) were killed and three others injured this morning when the car they were travelling in rammed into a tree along the Pratapgarh-Patti road near Dewanganj Bazar.
In another accident, on the Madafarpur-Chilbila road last night, two persons -- identified as Ram Kishun (48) and Achchey Lal (18) -- were killed while eight others were injured when the pick-up van in which they were travelling overturned, police said.

All the injured have been admitted to hospital and the two incidents are being investigated, they added.
