4 members of a family killed in road accident, 2 hurt

Four members of a family were today killed and two others injured when a vehicle carrying them plunged into a gorge in Uttarkashi district, police said.
The mishap occurred when the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle, they said, adding the deceased included two girls.
The injured have been hospitalised.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat has expressed grief over the mishap.
