4 Nepalese sentenced to 10 years in jail for drug smuggling

A local court has sentenced four Nepalese, including two women, members of a gang to ten years in jail for drug smuggling.
Additional Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha yesterday awarded the sentence to Dalveer Dathi, Dhale Dathi, Devi Dathi and Dilmaya Dathi and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on them for violating various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
They were arrested about two years back by SSB personnel at the Indo-Nepal border at Sonauli with 22 kilograms of charas.
