4 of a family die in road accident in UP

Four members of a family, including a woman and a six-year-old child, were today killed while four of their relatives injured when their car collided with a speeding truck on Maigalganj-Shahjahanpur national highway near Kotra village in Pasgawan area here.
The incident occurred at around 5 AM when Vipin Tewari (26), Santosh Mishra (34) and his wife, also with the name of Santosh (30), and Saksham Shukla (6), all residents of Usmanpur in New Delhi were travelling in their car which collided with the truck killing them on the spot, police said.
The four relatives who sustained serious injuries in the incident were rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, police said.

The body of the victims have been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that the truck driver was absconding and further probe was underway.
