Arvind Kumar Shringi, a local resident and working as an electrician at ACC Cement factory in Lakheri, died this morning after falling down from a chimney onto the machines in the factory, Bhagwati Prasad, SHO Lakheri police station said.
The victim who was working atop the chimney during the time of the incident, died on the spot, police said, adding that efforts are on to ascertain whether the incident was an accident or a case of suicide.
No case has been registered in the matter so far, Prasad said, adding that the body has been sent for post mortem.
