Shiv Singh, resident of village Darkan was going for the hearing when three persons, identified as, Guddu, Sunder, and Gopal shot him in Aligarh district, they said.
According to police, he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The victim was accused of killing Devi Singh, the father of the three involved in incident, police said, adding, the three accused killed Singh to revenge their father's death.
The police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
