The mishap occurred yesterday on Haldaur-Chandpur Road when the driver of the over-loaded bus lost control over the vehicle while trying to avert hitting a bicyclist, they said.
The injured were rushed to a community health centre at Haldaur from where six of them were referred to Bijnor district hospital.
The bus driver and its conductor, who were also injured in the incident, fled the scene after the mishap.
