The children, all cousins, had gone to graze goats and got into a nearby pond to take bath yesterday.
Nivya Damor (7), her sister Anjali Damor (11), Mamta Damor (8) and her brother Roshan Damor (10), and their cousin Kali Dodiyar (8) drowned while bathing, a police official said.
When the children did not return home, their family members started searching for them near the pond and informed the police after tracing their footwear.
Bodies of all the five children were fished out with the help of villagers, the police official said.
