The five deaths were reported from Nagaur, Jodhpur, Pali, Barmer and Kota districts of the state, they said.
"Out of the 88 suspected cases of swine-flu, 18 persons were found positive in confirmatory tests," Aditya Atrya, state nodal officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) told PTI.
While winter is receding across the state, the virus is still active, he said.
"The latest casualty is a 39-year-old man in Pali district. He died of the virus on March 15. A retired doctor from Jhalawar had died on February 22 at SMS Hospital," Chief Medical and Health officer (Jaipur), Narottam Sharma said.
