5 men,3 women held for disturbing public peace in Ghaziabad

Eight persons, including three women, were nabbed while they were partying in inebriated state, after residents of a colony located at National Highway 24 here complained to police.
Kavi Nagar police last night received a complaint about a sex racket operating in the residential society, SHO of the police station, Ashok Sisodia said
Although the sex racket complaint was found wrong but the eight persons, who were dancing in inebriated state, were arrested under section 151 (Arrest to prevent the commission of cognisable offences) of the CrPC for disturbing public peace, Sisodia said.
The accused, aged between 25 to 30 years, claimed that it was a birthday party and they were celebrating with music, the SHO said.

The three women were handed over to their parents, while the boys were fined, the SHO added.
