5 Nepalis held with 75 kg charas

Five Nepali smugglers were today arrested with charas worth Rs 8 crore in the international market on the Indo-Nepal border here.
The SSB jawans on patrol duty apprehended five Nepali smugglers moving about suspiciously on the border this morning and found them carrying 75 kg charas, Commandant of nineth battalion SSB, Murti Singh said.
The smugglers intended to take the contraband to Kullu- Manali in Himachal Pradesh via Lucknow, the commandant said, adding that all the arrested belong to Daang district of Nepal.
