5 trapped in flash floods, two boys drown in pond

Five persons were today stuck on the banks of Parvati river in Ayana area of Kota following flash floods after heavy rains.
The area is situated some 100 kilometres from Kota town.
SP (Rural) Vikas Pathak said all out efforts are being made to rescue the five persons.
In another incident, two boys today drowned while swimming in a pond in Wair town of Bharatpur district, police said.
The deceased were identified as Mohit and Hariom.
Meanwhile, torrential rains threw normal life out of gear in parts of Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar and a number of villages bordering Madhya Pradesh, an official said.
