5-year-old girl raped by security guard

In a shocking incident, a five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a security guard in Model Town area of North Delhi.
The accused has been booked and arrested.
According to the police, the incident happened yesterday when the girl was playing outside her house when the guard lured her to a secluded place on some pretext.
"He then raped her and threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone. The girl then returned home and revealed her ordeal to her parents," said a police official.
They then took their daughter to the police station to lodge a case.

The police took the victim to a nearby government hospital where her condition is said to be out of danger while rape was established in her medical examination.
"A case of rape under section 376 of IPC and POCSO Act was registered and the accused, identified as Rakesh Kumar, was arrested in the evening on the basis of the victim's statement," the official said.
