50 huts gutted in fire at AP village

Nearly 50 huts were today reduced to ashes in fire that broke out in Kuchinalapadu village of the district near here, officials said.
There was no human casualty, while some sheeps and cows tied in the sheds were charred to death as flames spread, they said.
The blaze erupted at Kuchinalapadu village in Laxminarsupeta mandal, about 35 kms from here, at around 9 AM, they said.
A fire brigade from nearby Amadalavalasa rushed to the spot and doused the flames within half-an-hour, though by that time about 50 thatched houses were gutted.
The cause of the blaze was being probed, fire services officials added.

Laxminarsupeta Tahasildar and other officials visited the village.
