50 people stung by wasps, 15 receive serious injuries

Fifteen people were seriously injured after a swarm of wasps stung them and more than 35 others near here today, police said.
The venom filled sting by the wasps in Malliyakollai caused serious injuries to the 15 people who had been hospitalised, they said.
The others were treated as out patients, but the pain will last for 10 hours, Dr V Mohan, who treated them, said.
