Randhawa, India's legendary athlete, who finished fifth at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, said that he convinced the two companies to offer discount to sportspersons.
"I met Dr Arvind Lal of, MD of Lal Path Lab, and Dr Harsh Mahajan, MD Mahajan Imaging and requested them to offer some discount since there was no such facility for the sports persons. The modalities have to be worked out soon but they have agreed in principle to make such an offer," Randhawa,ace hurdler and a finalist at 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
