Ved Prakash, a resident of Rampur village, was shot by some persons and he died on the spot, they said, adding, his body was recovered from near Rahmatnagar village early this morning.
The police is trying to ascertain the motive behind the killing.
According to family members of the deceased, he had gone out on his bike yesterday and did not return.
No arrests have been made so far in this connection.
